Recap: LSE Alumni Sailing & Networking event at lake Tegernsee

On Friday evening, the event started with a small group of alumni at Restaurant Überfahrt, known as Bavaria's best restaurant.

Pia Wagner and Sebastian Hoering welcomed 25 enthused alumni - albeit with varying sailing skill levels - on Saturday, ready to conquer lake Tegernsee with state-of-the-art yachts. Fortunately, the weather was well suited for sailing with great wind conditions and some dramatic clouds on the sky.

Following a short sailing course by the experienced skipper on each boat, all teams sailed across the lake using the good winds.

In the evening, everyone enjoyed a typical Bavarian dinner at the Herzögliches Braustüberl, with many alumni chatting at the beer garden until late.

On Sunday, we took the cable car up to the Wallberg to enjoy some beautiful views of the area. After a light lunch, all participants headed back home with many nice memories of the weekend and new acquaintances.
